Drafting a Wedding Invitation Card the Right Way

Wedding Card For Perfect Wedding
Wedding invitations hold a great importance in the wedding scenario. It serves the purpose of invitation and is a mode to shift the joy to the couple’s relatives. A card shouldn’t be treated as a newsletter at all, it is to be planned the right way. The guests can get a glimpse of wedding style, know about the venue, hosts and such other deeds from the same.
The design isn’t the only thing that makes a wedding card plausible, it includes the text also. The wording and layout invitation should be the right so that any confusion or wrong message is conveyed to the guests unwillingly. It should be in a tone which you would have otherwise used to convey them, should include personal emotions and so.
The theme of the card doesn’t affect the basics to be mentioned, which are:

1.       Name of wedding hosts

Typically, the whole wedding arrangement is done by parents of the bride or bride and groom hence stated as the hosts in the wedding invitation card. However, it can be anyone who’s in charge of wedding related affairs, even the bride and groom themselves! A simple yet effective beginning line starts with names of the hosts, followed by ‘invite you and your family to the marriage of’ with the bride’s and groom’s name towards the end.

2.       Using correct guest name titles

The title is a way of showing warmth and respect to the guest. The basic rule of Mr., Ms. and Mrs. Applies to this. If someone is a doctor by profession, then instead substitute Mr. by the word Dr. and so on.

3.       Date, Venue and Time

The date and time can be jotted down either in the numeric form or the spell out form, completely relies on personal taste. However, a slight edge is given to the spelled out form, owing to the current trend. The venue is provided so that the guests can arrive at the wedding place in advance or plan it out.

4.       Bride and Groom’s Full Name

Remember that no matter what nicknames or pet-names are used to address the bride and the groom at home or by the friends, the full name along with family name is to be drafted on the marriage card.

5.       Outfit Theme (Optional)

If you’ve decided to jump in outfit-theme train for your wedding, then make sure it is mentioned in the wedding card and in such a manner that it is noticeable.

For the non-local guests, a map and a list of arranged accommodations can be sent as a companion, however, it is always better off to convey the same on the phone. RSVP , if you insist on, should be dated 1 month prior to the date of the wedding so that you can make necessary modifications to different wedding aspects. You can add your mobile number or email to get instant answers, post mails are slow and thus cause you trouble.
